HARAS DE NUMA
A KINGDOM FOR ARABIAN HORSES
Mr and Mrs Ascaso who started having ponies and race horses, created Tchaata Arabians in 1991, purchasing a colt and 2 mares from the legendary farm Shamilah Arabians. Our first foals were born in 1992, Shamilah Virydiana and Calkan, both sired by Nadir I out of the mares they purchased and bred in 1991:
Volga ( X Narav ibn Aswan ) and Creatiwa ( X Kilimandjaro ) French National Champion Mare.
Their son Philippe Ascaso is now managing the farm, but everyone is involved in everyday's duty.
Living amongst horses, living fully their passion for horses.
The "Haras de Numa" is located in the south west of France in the region of the Madiran vineyard.
This is an old stone farm built in 1752, a typical "Vic Bilh" house from the 18th century. In 2001 we established new facilities, a wooden barn, exterior wooden stalls, and many paddocks with wooden fences.
We live one hour drive from the Atlantic coast and from Spain. We are 30 minutes away from Pau international airport with daily flights to Paris and other main cities within Europe .
